Movement with Mara

This class focuses on bringing your awareness to the inner sense of the body (proprioception) through simple movements, rhythms, stillness and breath. We will start with relaxation practices to get into the body, focused activities for various parts of the body to increase the ability to sense then, using the increased awareness, we will move through more vigorous options for building strength and stamina, ending with a guided stillness practice. Lecture and storytelling will be woven throughout the class.

I will be holding space for those wishing to stay longer for time to connect, play and dance. More details about Play Time will be shared at the beginning of each class.
